The Noisy Neighbors

The Noisy Neighbors, the name harkening to the group’s rollicking origins at the end of a suburban cul de sac, sums up perfectly the essence of this band: rocking musical passion and fervor combined with more pedestrian day-job inspired traits such as showing up on time, being polite, and not throwing up behind the drum kit.

Growing up in the suburbs of Seattle, Noisy Neighbors Mark, Tom and Jim, were weaned on a steady diet of 1970’s classic rock. The band delves heavily into the music of this decade, breathing new life into expected standards as well as resurrecting long forgotten chestnuts. Like any good neighborhood, people move on and others move in. Hans came along to expand the bands sound with keyboards, Mel moved into the rhythm guitar side of the stage and all the way from the UK, Paul brings to the table a wealth of experience at the lead guitar spot.

Each member of the band has a love and excitement for the music that is evident in their playing. Their shows are tumbling; high-energy sing along affairs, the band’s combined musical finesse and pure sense of enjoyment at playing the music of their youth spilling over to the audience.

Over the last 12 years the Noisy Neighbors have performed at countless parties, festivals, weddings, fundraisers, and club gigs. Their show now rotates through some 60 songs, each night different than the last.

The appeal of the band is easily explained by the band's name. Along with bringing the fun and Noise of rock to their shows, the Neighbors are also, well, neighborly.
